17 April 1995 Space coherence and light beam space quality evaluation

Abstract
The standard of beam space quality evaluation should reflect the space coherence and intensity magnitude (power or energy) of this laser beam. In the paper are discussed purity of modes, coherence concept of M2 factor and three methods of determining beam spot size are compared.
