The network-based imaging system, designed for platform independence, uses standard hardware and software to provide optimal flexibility, compatibility, longevity, and reliability. The alignment system described in this article was one of the first and most indispensable tools implemented in the development of the OMEGA upgrade project and has been in continuous daily operation for several years.
