20 September 1996 Development of four-beam laser welding system for fiber device manufacturing

Recently a four-beam Nd:YAG laser welding machine (Model JH- 4A) has been developed in this research institute for manufacturing the optical fiber communication devices such as coaxial diode laser modules, optical isolator etc. This laser welding machine is a four-beam synchronously welding system. The system is high positioning accuracy. The welded, devices have lower heat distortion and higher welding strength. The system well meets the OEM requirements.
