3 October 1996 Measurements of vector displacement and its derivatives for composite materials by laser holographic interferometry

Abstract
The kinematics of deformation of the object to be studied is combined with the formation of this holographic image by using the tensor analysis as a mathematical means. A relational expression for the surface and interior strain of a diffused object versus its rotation measurement is derived from the optical-path difference. With the ZFC method of a single hologram, a herculite container, as an experiment, is measured. The experimental results are in agreement with a strain gage.
