Abstract

The threshold value of the energy density q_thr at wavelength of 1.06 micrometer which led to unrecoverable sensitivity loss of the first generation S-1 photocathode of single-chamber module image converter tube (ICT) with fiber disks at input and output was determined experimentally. The value amounted to 2 X 10^-2J/cm².
