Polarized room-temperature Raman spectra of 1D spin-Peierls single crystal (alpha) '-NaV2O5 are obtained in backscattering geometries which enabled one to observe all types of the Raman active modes. The Raman spectra of this crystal with various degrees of the deficiency of the Na atoms are also represented. The Raman data are consistent with the recent x-ray measurements and confirm the centrosymmetrical structure of this crystals at room temperature.
