3 July 2001 Total-variational-based optical flow for cardiac-wall motion tracking

Abstract
In this note, we apply an L1 based approach to optical flow to measure heart wall motions. Our method captures discontinuities and sudden changes in the flow field much better than conventional quadratic gradient approaches.
