Abstract
The McCutchen transform is the combination of a Fourier transform with a square-root geometrical distortion. For a type of rotational-deblurring problem, it would be desirable to extend this transform in a 'natural' fashion. This talk summarizes some of the rewards and many of the frustrations arising from attempting this extension.
