Abstract
Laser cladding has become an accepted technique for improving the surface properties of materials. This surfacing technique is able to modify near surface composition and microstructure in order to improve the physico-chemical and mechanical properties such as hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance or high temperature behavior.
