Abstract
New laser dyes of different chemical structure for blue- green and red spectral regions have been developed. These materials were tested as laser media with the second and third harmonics of a Nd3+ laser ((lambda) equals 532 and 351 nm) as a pump source. Some of the investigated dyes: Coumarin 522T, Coumarin 480D, Naphtalimide 6T, Phenalemine 512, and Benzanthrone 14 M are more efficient than commonly used laser dyes.
