Abstract
In this paper the authors present, from theoretical point of view some logical gates (NOT, OR, AND), demultiplexer (DNIUX) and multiplexer (MUX) achieved with optical devices. The important advantages of the models are: the speed of the information transfer is high, the data transmission rates are high, the processing power is high. Another advantage is that the light signal processed and transmitted (in different applications) isn't converted in electronic signal and then reconverted in optical signal. The light signal remains all the time into optical domain.
