For the purpose of cooling the electronic device rapidly, a cooling system based on Peltier elements has been designed and manufactured. The mathematic model of the system was built by theoretic deduce. The system is able to actively control the euthermic device's virtual thermal resistance to its surroundings and efficient cooling can be achieved. According to the proposed model, the relation between the input power of the Peltier cell and the power loaded on the euthermic device was simplified, moreover, a new multi-modal control strategy based on low power consumption was presented. The experiments proved that the use of this cooling system with our control strategy increased the control precision up to 0.8% when the power loaded on the euthermic device was at 12W.
