Abstract
A new method for extraction of information on molecular masses from electrospray mass spectra is described. The method operates with a peak table as an input and is based on the analysis and decomposition of mass spectrum structure. Detection of isotope clusters is based on comparison of mass spectrum with isotope pattern calculated on the set of simulated mass spectra. The described method is programmed as a fast routine. Examples of decomposition of real mass spectra are presented.
