Abstract
The development of field-bus technology is changing of the traditional control system. The fiber sensor in DeviceNet is used in the research to detect the strain's variations of smart structure. A control & monitoring system based on Ajax web technology is discussed, which implements asynchronous communications between web services components and Ajax clients. Dynamical and rapidly responded web applications are built to monitor a smart structure, which greatly improves real time capability of the remote control systems in smart structure.
