Abstract

We report on colloidal synthesis of ZnO and novel ZnO/ZnS core/shell nanocrystals (NCs) from zinc alkoxy alkyl precursors in the MeIm/H₂O coordinating solvent. The results of NC structural and optical characterization are presented.
