Abstract
This paper is discussed using technique of wavelet analysis in the task of technical state monitoring of civil and industrial constructions. In order to validate supposed technique it was built finite element model of reinforce concrete beam which allows to investigate dynamic characteristics of a health beam and a beam which includes crack at periodic and impulse loading. As the result it was established relation between geometric dimensions of a crack and: 1) natural frequencies of first 4 beam mode shape; 2) wavelet coefficient of decomposition of displacement velocity for chosen control point of beam caused by impulse loading.
