Abstract
Wavelet transform is widely used in image fusion area. The original principle of the wavelet image fusion is to get the best resolution without altering the spectral contents of the image. There are three kinds of factors such as wavelet bases, decomposition levels and fusion criteria which influence the fusion process. In this paper, the influence of each factor to image fusion is analyzed and the optimal combinations of them are reached.
