Abstract
This paper presents the principle of a flexibility three-coordinate measurement system and the leap-frog ball coordinate conversion principle. By means of establishing corresponding mathematical model of the measurement system, the coordinate value of measured point is obtained, which is directly applied to get diameter dimensions of small-scale mirrors. For large-scale mirrors bigger than the measurement range of the system, combination leap-frog ball and measurement system are used to obtain measurement results.
