Abstract
Techniques by which the receive performance of a Continuous-Phase-Frequency-Shift-Keying (CPFSK) UHF waveform can be improved in frequency-flat slow Rayleigh fading using receive spatial diversity are investigated. Through simulation, diversity techniques using limiter-discriminator-detection with post detection switching diversity is compared with techniques employing Maximum-Likelihood-Sequence-Estimation (MLSE) and Per- Survivor-Processing (PSP) for coherent maximum ratio combining.
