Abstract
To reduce the fuzziness of image edge detection and better preserve the edge locality, based on the morphological operator, a new anisotropic diffusion equation based on the multi-structural elements morphological operator is proposed in this paper. Its diffusion coefficient is dependent not only on the gradient of the image and the second derivatives, but on the multi-structural elements morphological operator, which is calculated by combining with morphological expansion and morphological corrosion, performing the size adjustment of the morphological structural elements, detecting multidirectional edges of image at different scales and integrating the edge characteristics for various scale.Experiments show that the more ideal image edges under the environment of existing noise are obtained, while he processed images have high fidelity and constrast.
