Abstract
This paper is focusing on the influence of the geometry of a multilateration surveillance system onto the accuracy of measuring emitter (target) coordinates regardless of calculation algorithm. Cramer-Rao lower bound concept is used. The way to find an optimal sensors configuration is investigated.
