Abstract
The transmission of normally incident plane wave through periodic subwavelength metallic slits with perpendicular waveguides has been explored. Two-dimensional electromagnetic fields around the slit with waveguide are simulated by the finite-difference time-domain method. Especially, the influence of the waveguide width on transmission is studied.
