Abstract
Holographic stereograms, varifocal mirrors, stereo pairs and alternating pairs are evaluated as to their appropriateness for modeling digital cartographic data as produced by the Defense Mapping Agency. After describing the data and establishing criteria for what constitutes an acceptable three-dimensional display system, we present each technology and evaluate it based on the criteria.
