Abstract
On the basis of three-order aberration theory, only adopt the method of null test using compensation of a compensating lens and a field lens to compensate ellipsoidal mirror with a scale of 1m and super large relative aperture, and succeed to design a compensator of the ellipsoidal mirror that the radius of curvature of vertex is 1555mm, aperture is 1000mm and e2 is 0.9. Compared to compensator of ellipsoidal mirror with small aperture or small relative aperture, aperture of the compensating Lens is large and field lens is far from center of curvature of vertex of the ellipsoidal mirror, which destroys the conjugated relationship about field lens between compensating lens and the ellipsoidal mirror, and compensates aberration together with compensating lens. The result of design shows that the aberration is well corrected, and RMS below to λ/40 after fulfillment.
