Abstract
We present a perfomance study of stimulated brillouin scattering (SBS) distributed fiber-optic sensing with modified steady-state model. Modified model which introduces a new noise factor B can be utilized to describe SBS process more precise. Harmonic reconstruction algorithm has been conducted based on the modified steady-state model. Comparative results analysis between original steady-state model and modified model will also be given in this thesis.
