Abstract
Grumman efforts in the design and study of tactical reconnaissance systems, and particularly studies of the application of pods for such reconnaissance missions, have been conducted over the past several years, as shown in Figure 1. Most of this effort has been done with corporate funds supplemented by some funded studies from the U. S. Navy.
