Abstract
Silicon photonic microring resonators can be fabricated with the conventional CMOS technology. But there is one fundamental problem with this new technology that must be solved: wavelength non-uniformity. In this paper, a new approach to solve this problem is presented. It intends to show that a device problem can sometimes be tackled with an architectural technique.
