Abstract
The hydroxyl radical plays a central role in the chemistry of the Earth atmosphere since it determines the lifetime of many chemical species under both clean and polluted conditions. This paper gave a new method for measuring tropospheric hydroxyl radical based on cavity ring-down spectroscopy(CRDS) which is a kind of spectroscopic method and widely applied to measurements of gas species, metal clusters and radicals.
