Abstract
Problems relating to diffractive computer optics, prospective diffractive-optical-element-based (DOE-based) devices, and relevant information technologies are overviewed. Based on the studies conducted, benefits and disadvantages of the research facilities and associated technological procedures available at the Research & Education Center of Diffractive Computer Optics established jointly by the IPSI RAS and SSAU are analyzed.
