Abstract
The vertex curvature radius is one of the important parameters to determine the properties of an optical aspheric. Instead of the direct measured values in the local vertex aperture, we usually adopt the global fitting values of vertex radius for full aperture. Based on the interferometric method of sphere radius, using iris diaphragm to align aspheric, the vertex curvature radius of local aperture is direct determined. Then, the tested vertex values of local aperture and the global fitting values are contrastively analyzed. This method offers some guidance for the measurement of vertex curvature radius of optical aspheric.
