Abstract
An application concept of the MIMO technique, which is very well known from a radio transmission to increase a total information capacity of multimode fibers was discussed. The focus has been mainly on an incoherent version of this technique. Additionally an experimental setup based on the such approach has been described in a second part of the paper. The system cooperated with an OM2 50 μm GI silica fiber with 4.4 km of a length. Two digital streams with a 200 Mbit/s rate each had been transmitted simultaneously in the same band of the frequency beyond a baseband of the multimode fiber.
