Abstract
We present a peer-to-peer realization of the online object oriented Monte Carlo code as a further development of the unified model of photon migration in complex turbid media such as biological tissues. The object oriented programming is used for to generalization of the code for multi-purpose use in various applications of biomedical optics. The peer-topeer network share their GPUs communicate and technique utilizes parallel computing on Graphical Processing Units for acceleration and a web application solution to provide users with the direct access for on-line modeling. We demonstrate that Peer-to-Peer realization could potentially deal with the limitations imposed by the multi-user access to the on-line modeling. Currently the online MC tool is available to the biophotonics community through its website hosted in Australasia: www.biophotonics.ac.nz
