Abstract
A wearable augmented reality (AR) display enables the ability to overlay computer-generated imagery on a person’s real-world view and it has long been portrayed as a transformative technology to redefine the way we perceive and interact with digital information. In this paper, I will provide an overview on my research group’s past development efforts in augmented reality display technologies and applications and discuss key technical challenges and opportunities for future developments.
