Abstract
Based on the requirements of engineering design and improving the detection ability of laser detector, the Monte Carlo method is adopted to analyze and compare the statistic distributed rules of the detection probability, the false probability, the ratio of signal to noise and the threshold value of detecting circuit for laser detector using pseudo-random code pulse and equidistant pulse system. The simulation results show that the signal to noise ratio for pseudo-random code pulse system is about three times bigger than the equidistant pulse system, the detecting threshold for pseudo-random code pulse system is one times bigger than the equidistant pulse system, and the pseudo-random code pulse system excels the equidistant pulse system in consistency of the simulation curves. A conclusion can be made that the ability of laser detector using pseudo-random code pulse system is better than laser detector using equidistant pulse system.
