Abstract
The Axicon Centering Station centers lenses and assemblies without the need of a rotary table. The axis created optically by the Axicon grating is the reference axis. All alignment is strictly x-y with easy hand eye coordination. The ease of use greatly improves productivity whether cementing doublets or the assembly complete lens systems. The breadboard baseplate provides flexibility to use a variety of tooling for almost any kind of assembly.
