Abstract

Our aim in this book has been to convey the feel for technology entrepreneurship. We decided at the outset to omit the recipes of business plans and presentations, a treatise on legal responsibilities, employment, safety, public liability, professional liability, and all these other essential intrusions into the technology adventure. Our hope, however, is that we have conveyed the impression that this is an interesting, exciting, and viable approach to technology exploitation, that it has many, many facets and no stereotypes, and that, most of all, it is stimulating and enjoyable.
