Chapter 4: Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy of Human Skin in vivo
Infrared (IR) and Raman spectroscopy are complementary optical methods that provide information about the molecular composition, molecular structures, and molecular interactions in a sample. There exist many books on the theoretical and experimental aspects of IR and Raman spectroscopy (see, e.g., Refs. 1, 2, 3 and references therein). Here the methods are only briefly described.
