Abstract

The essential properties of photorefractive polymers are reviewed and their use in two-beam coupling, edge enhancement of images and image correlation are demonstrated. The advantages of using photorefractive polymers over photorefractive crystals, such as ease of fabrication and low cost, are discussed.
