Chapter 4:
Illumination: Coherence Features
Abstract
The properties of light used to acquire the LSF in the Campbell-Gubisch experiment deserve careful consideration, because the coherence degree of the illumination has a significant influence on the character of the image that was ultimately observed. Such properties involve the spectrum and spatial coherence of the light.
