Abstract

Thin film optical filters can be prepared using a number of different coating technologies. A few of these methods have found their way into commercial production processes. In this section we discuss some of the methods currently used for commercial filter production. Although the subject matter is extensive, this section is necessarily brief. For more detailed information on this subject, the reader is referred to the text by Maissel and Glang (1970).
