Abstract
The handling of nonconforming elements or systems that do not meet stated requirements is an important process for reducing or eliminating problems found in design, production, assembly, testing, and delivery. Proper treatment will improve productivity, reduce loss, and improve profit. Figure 21.1 illustrates a typical flowchart for handling nonconforming optical elements.
