Optical Coherence Tomography and Heterodyne Imaging
Abstract
This chapter describes OCT based on interferometry using low coherence light sources, and an optical heterodyne method that uses, on the contrary, highly coherent light sources. The advantages, disadvantages, and limits of both methods in the application to the study of tissues are discussed.
