Abstract

This appendix provides some details about optical systems that are useful in the infrared. Reference was made in the text to the article by Lloyd Jones,' and some of the pertinent data from that article are given here. Both reflective and refractive systems are considered briefly to provide the reader with a comparison to the aberration approximations and a start on representative designs.
