How can I purchase a paper on the SPIE Digital Library?
You will need a personal account to purchase a paper on the SPIE Digital Library. After creating an account or signing in with an existing account, click "Download PDF" for the paper, then "Add to cart" and follow the instructions. You will see a choice to either purchase the single paper, or to purchase an individual subscription which will then allow you to download multiple papers.
After completing the purchase, you will receive an email receipt with a link that allows you to download the paper. (If you do not receive a receipt, please check your spam or junk folder. If you cannot find it there, please contact email@example.com.)
You will also see the paper listed when you login to SPIE Digital Library and navigate to My Account > Subscriptions & Downloads. You have online access to downloaded articles for 12 months.
How can I purchase a volume of Proceedings papers?
Only conference attendees may purchase online access to an entire volume of that conference's Proceedings papers. Attendees select the desired volume(s) as a part of conference registration, or can alternatively purchase access to the volume(s) after the conference by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
Users who did not attend the conference cannot purchase online access to an entire Proceedings volume; instead, we recommend establishing an Individual Subscription to the SPIE Digital Library, which then allows the users to download as many papers from the volume as desired. Another alternative is to purchase printed collections of proceedings, which are available on spie.org.
How can I purchase an SPIE eBook or print book?
Only users from subscribing institutions can access the eBooks on the SPIE Digital Library platform. Individuals who are not affiliated with subscribing institutions may instead purchase eBooks and print books on SPIE.org; click any book title to select among the available electronic and print formats.
