This article [J. Electron. Imag. 18, 013013 (2009)] was originally published online on 19 February 2009 with an error in the title. The title “Core-point detection based on edge mapping in fingerprint images” should read “Core-point detection based on edge maps in fingerprint images.” All online versions of the article were corrected on 29 April 2009.
