This article [J. Nanophoton. 6, 061502 (2012)] was originally published online on 6 April 2012 with an error in step 3 appearing on page 3 of the article. The text originally read as follows:

  • Step 3. Then the NPs are exposed to a controlled O2 flux (of 0.3 sccm corresponding to 14 mbar) for 600 s.

The correct text is as follows:

  • Step 3. Then the NPs are exposed to a controlled O2 flux (of 0.3 sccm corresponding to 104mbar) for 600 s.

The article was corrected on 6 June 2012.
