1 January 2001 Digital shearography: state of the art and some applications
Author Affiliations +
This paper provides an overview of the state of the art of digital shearography. It covers techniques for speckle averaging, fringe pattern reconstruction, several novel phase modulators, high speed speckle pattern registration. Examples in experimental mechanics including measurements of strain, vibration, shape, and nondestructive testing are also provided.
