Abstract
X-ray third-order nonlinear Bragg diffraction basic formulas both for monochromatic waves and for x-ray pulses are presented. The main effects are discussed. The results of rocking curves dependences on the intensity of the incident wave are presented and analyzed. The nonlinear diffraction of x-rays becomes significant due to presence of intense x-ray synchrotron sources and XFELs.
