1 May 2001 Random facet Fresnel lenses and mirrors

Fresnel-type lenses and mirrors are designed and their performance is simulated. These lenses and mirrors employ random spac- ings between elements to minimize intense higher order diffraction terms while maintaining good overall light concentration.
