Abstract
The concept of an outdoor interferometer is developed using, as a basis, a scatter-fringe interferometer. The purpose of this interferometer is not for testing any optics, but purely as a visual phenomenon. As such it could be installed in a large park or a science museum when constructed on a large scale.
